O2 Win 'Industry Advance Award'
The industry acclaimed Mobile News awards held in March saw O2 win the 'Industry Advance' award for their 'O2 Joined Up' Communications package.
The 'Joined Up' strategy integrates the new fixed line propositions with the established mobile phone offerings. O2 recognised that their customers and partners would each benefit from having both mobile and fixed-line from one supplier.

The Three Amigos and a Bandito
In 2009 the Scum Run raised a huge £65,000 for chilidren's charity Chase and this year Scum Run has chosen to raise money for CLIC. When Graham Richmond from Richmond Transport contacted Paul Davis (MD) for help in getting internet access during the team's Scum Run excersion. The team needto make posts to their facebook group, upload photos of their journey and stay in touch with home while on the move so it made sense to give them an O2 Broadband dongle with 50MB International use for company on their travels. We were more than happy to make the donation to support our loyal customers and their efforts. We must also extend a big thank you to Dave Daniels of 2D Sign Installation Ltd for making us some car stickers to help decorate the teams car at incredibly late notice. • Click here to track the Scum Run • Have a look at the Clic Sargent website here |

Tethering - Mobile Modems
![]() You can use your BlackBerry or iPhone as a modem with some great bolt ons from O2. For just £6.38/month you can use your BlackBerry as a modem for 3GB The default pay as you go BlackBerry tethering costs are reasonable too so even if it's a once in blue moon moment you can rest assured you are getting very reasonable costs at just 85p/MB with BIS tariffs and 75p/MB with BES tariffs. Click here to see the BlackBerry tethering rates in detail. iPhone Tethering: 3GB for £8.51/month and Unlimited usage at just £15 Both of the iPhone variants include unlimited WiFi access via The Cloud too. There are no roaming bundles available for tethering at present so if you wish to use the internet on a laptop while abroad we would suggest a broadband stick and an International data bundle to reduce costs. |
