This page brings you extracts from the Telecomms industry news:
The industry acclaimed Mobile News awards held in March saw O2 win the 'Industry Advance' award for their 'O2 Joined Up' Communications package.

The 'Joined Up' strategy integrated new fixed line propositions with the established mobile phone offerings. O2 recognised that their customers and partners would each benefit from having both mobile and fixed-line from one supplier.
The biggest benefits for customers being a single point of contact for a variety of communications solutions. O2's refreshed appoach is music to our ears here at Aerial Telephones as we have been promoting a number of communications services for a number of years. As an O2 Centre of Excellence we are keen advocates of the O2 brand with a large proportion of our current customers connected to the O2 network so we have received extensive training direct from O2 of the new offerings and we have been able to demonstrate our new found knowledge with a receptive audience.

see the extract below from an article in Mobile News about the 'Industry Advance' winning strategy;

"Telefónica O2 UK is experiencing “unprecedented success” with its Joined Up communications package, revealing it has signed 10 corporate accounts since the product’s launch in October. O2 also said Joined Up will be subject to “millions” in investment into its development through 2010..."
..."Businesses want a supplier who can manage and optimise existing services and commercials whilst at the same time transform the technology to support their business strategy and help them retain their competitive edge."

iPhone network tests bring O2 out on top
An interesting performance test conducted by Pocket-lint in London shows O2 on top form. Admittedly there are a number of these sorts of tests to be found on the net making a definitive answer search somewhat of a minefield but we believe the results of this one speak for themselves.

Associated comments may be a mixed bag, and the test is not a local area but we think it's still worth a read!
